As a college student I had always found that the hardest part of essay writing was feedback. I could read my work over and over again but still not be satisfied with the writing but be at a loss on what to do. I also knew that many of my peers started their essays late at night, after the tutoring center was closed, therefore it was even more imperative for them to have access to a way to get feedback on their writing 24/7.

Many students have in recent years turned to artificial intelligence models to give feedback on their work but if done improperly can lead to the model writing the essay for them. This not only breaks academic integrity but hinders their growth as a writer.

Enter Midnight Tutor, my team's solution to this challenge. Students upload their essay, prompt, and rubric and get detailed feedback on where they can improve. It also has a brainstorming feature to help get the writing juices flowing
