AI Essay Feedback Tool

Led a 3-day hackathon sprint to design and build an AI-powered essay feedback tool. The project was scoped, built, and presented entirely within the competition window — requiring rapid decision-making on technology choices, scope management, and team coordination under time pressure.

The UI/UX was designed in Google Stitch, which allowed quick iteration on layout and interaction patterns before committing to implementation. The frontend and AI integration layer were implemented in TypeScript, with structured prompting to return actionable, category-specific feedback on essay structure, clarity, and argumentation.

The project was presented to a panel of evaluators at the conclusion of the hackathon. Focus areas for the presentation included the product rationale, technical architecture, and live demonstration of the feedback pipeline.
