Cloud Email and Workspace Migration

The Order of the Arrow lodge that I was a member of was moving off Network Solutions to achieve better performance for the WordPress site I made. Doing so would make us lose our email solution unless we wanted to pay a per mailbox subscription cost. I thoroughly evaluated all of the different solutions and landed on Google Workspace. Because we were a non-profit we qualified for free Google Workspace accounts that would let us reduce our total email cost to zero.

I worked with an advisor to navigate the non-profit status approval, migrate email data, and set up mailboxes.

Because of youth protection requirements all emails that contain a person under 18 must have at least 2 adults on the communication chain. To accomplish this we set up the email aliases to forward to personal email addresses of the youth recipient and adult advisors, enabling automatic compliance
