Cloud Email and Workspace Migration

The Order of the Arrow lodge I was a member of was moving away from Network Solutions to improve performance for the WordPress site I had built. Doing so would have meant losing our email solution unless we wanted to pay a per-mailbox subscription cost. I evaluated several options and landed on Google Workspace. Because we were a nonprofit, we qualified for free Google Workspace accounts, which allowed us to reduce our total email cost to zero.

I worked with an advisor to navigate nonprofit status approval, migrate email data, and set up mailboxes.

Because of youth protection requirements, all emails containing a person under 18 must include at least two adults in the communication chain. To accomplish this, we set up email aliases to forward to the youth recipient's personal email address and the adult advisors' addresses, enabling automatic compliance.
